295 - A coping and healing tool

We can take away some of the power of shame over our lives and our relationships simply by learning how to identify and name it. Sharing it with someone who is safe for you can help also.

  1. I was very crabby today and could not name the shame. But as I was being crabby with my husband about everything, I realized that the shame came from a left over feeling I had a couple of days ago. I felt like I was incapable of doing my job the way others wanted me to do it. I am. I can only do my job to the best of MY ability and let the cards fall where they may. (acceptance of myself and the situation and trust) I read from one of my books: "tranquility is more important than perfection".

Thank you for this blog, because I did both and could see that. I named it finally and shared it with a trustworthy person.
